The Hong Kong Representative
Body of ICC
The Chamber participates in deliberations on ICC policies and
rules affecting business and economy. It is the focal point
of ICC activities in Hong Kong and is the permanent liaison
body between ICC headquarters in Paris, France and its members
in Hong Kong. It is the channel of communication
between ICC headquarters and the local business community.

Advocacy Role in Hong
Kong Government's Policy
The Chamber regularly offers its views to the Hong Kong government
or other bodies on public policy making and public administration,
particularly where it may have a bearing on global business
or on Hong Kong's international interest.

Communication with Institutions
Overseas
The Chamber maintains contact with ICC national committees in
other parts of the world. It also speaks direct with relevant
institutions overseas or international bodies on subjects of
interest to Hong Kong.

Sale of ICC Publications
The Chamber distributes ICC publications. These cover a wide
range of standards and practices for various industries and
businesses, such as banking, arbitration or trade. They are
highly regarded and are in good demand by businesses and legal
practitioners.

Events, Seminars & Luncheons
The Chamber organizes workshops or seminars for on-the-job training,
for professional requirements or for conferring on major business
issues.

Electronic Trade Processing
Services & Endorsement of Trade Documents
a. Tradelink Services
The Chamber is the specified agent of Tradelink Electronic Commerce
Limited to operate the services of (1) Electronic Trade Declaration
(ETAS), (2) Dutiable Commodities Permit (DCP), (3) China
Interactive Customs Declaration Service Platform - Electronic
Manifest Input Service, and (4) Electronic Cargo Manifest Service (EMAN) facilitate business in their trade
documentation work and to comply with Hong Kong government's
import and export requirements. Service centre are situated
in Sheung Wan, Mongkok and Shatin, close to MTR or KCR stations.
b. Endorsement Services of Trade Documents including Certificates of Origin
The Chamber provides these Services to facilitate Hong Kong businesses in international
trade.
