Institute of Financial Services (IFS) will be running the CDCS examination in Hong Kong on Thursday, 22 April 2004 with the registration deadline on 1 January 2004.

What is the Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS)?

CDCS is the professional certification that enables documentary credit practitioners to demonstrate specialist knowledge and application of the skills required for competent practice. CDCS is the international standard for documentary credit specialists. CDCS has been developed in partnership by the Institute of Financial Services (ifs), the official brand of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIB) and the International Financial Services Association (IFSA). It is endorsed by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and developed in consultation with industry experts to ensure that the certification reflects best practice.
